I studied English Literature at UNAM (Mexico’s National University) and wrote my thesis on Shakespeare in Bollywood under the supervision of Alfredo Michel Modenessi.

I got my PhD from De Montfort University in the UK, at the Centre for Adaptation Studies. I wrote my dissertation on the different ways The Three Musketeers has been adapted (including the much-beloved Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds).
